It's a great addition to a Tesla. The passengers in the back seat can easily control the air conditioning, and it can also display a clock. My impression of the touchscreen is that it's high quality and very responsive. The installation of the product was not so easy. I didn't find the instructions helpful at all. Youtube videos of the same installation helped the most.

love the idea of giving back seat controls over the music, passenger seat adjustment and setting the temperature. This is a very helpful product once you start using it. it make life easier to adjust the passenger seat when installing a baby car seat directly from the back. helps the driver concentrate more on driving rather than continuously adjust temperature or changing music.

the quality of the material is good and the touch screen is responsive. the installation part is little tricky but not that hard at all.

overall its a good upgrade to your tesla.

Lets be honest. Your Tesla isn't unique. There are literally thousands of similar Tesla out there. However, this touchscreen LCD display will help distinguish your Tesla from the others. What a great modern display that allows your rear passengers to control certain functions.

I have a 2022 Model Y, with 7 seats. There are times where I have 5 to 6 people in the car, taking up 2nd and 3rd row of seats. It is difficult to be able to control the AC and the seat heating for everyone, while I am driving. But this makes everything so much easier for the passengers. This gives them control of the seat warmer, temperature control, fan speed, and even the front passenger seat adjustments to give more leg rooms. The installation does take a bit of time, I am not very experienced with installing car parts, it took me about 1 to 2 hours to get everything done. I followed steps on other youtuber's videos, made it easier than the included instructions. The most difficult part is getting the front passenger seat connected, all the cables and connections are under the seat, makes it very difficult to get to. Also needed some special tool that's small enough to get under the seat to get to some of the bolts. I did watch over the installation videos quote a few times, before I started to work on it. The product it self is very high quality, the mold fits with no problem, the touch screen is very well made, and responsive. Everything works great so far.

This was an easy install. It took me about 45 minutes total, and half of that was spent fishing the wire under the passenger seat – more later. Installation does require a T8 and a T20 Torx screwdriver bit which is not included in the kit. Tesla uses these bits to attach parts in the car that must be removed to install this screen unit. Note: you cannot use a long T20 bit – you have to unscrew a fastener under the front seat pointing up so you have little clearance. The whole install is a simple plug and play. The wiring at the bottom of the center pillar is a bit jammed in when finished but it works just fine. I already had another plug set there to connect a heads up display but managed to daisy chain the two connectors together and get them back into the storage space. I like the appearance – it’s normally just showing the time (but for reasons I do not understand, you have to set the time zone +/- GMT. It will need to be adjusted at the start and end of Daylight Savings Time each year. Everything works well, but there are some strange idiosyncrasies – the temperature setting on the right is for the left side of the car and vice versa. With the temperature set on Farenheight, the readout converts Celsius so the display shows a tenths decimal readout. The instructions are a bit difficult to understand and I strongly suggest looking for youtube instructions prior to attempting an install. The wiring is first class, with the same cloth covered harness used by Tesla. My only problem came with fishing the wire under the passenger seat – I’d raised the seat up as much as possible and the first time I pulled the wire through I left it in a place that pinched it when the seat was lowered. Had to pull it out and redo that part. Once I got it right, however, everything worked fine. I’m very pleased with the device – it’s up to you to decide if giving rear seat passengers control over their seat heaters and the sound system is value proposition.
